The Career Creators board

A dedicated team of experts shape the way education, learning and access to employment is delivered throughout Birmingham and Solihull. The board meet regularly to ensure best practice in the industry, share knowledge to help support the young people in our area.

Sue Tipton

Susan has been the Managing Director of Protocol Consultancy Services since 1996 and has maintained Ofsted Grade One Outstanding with her team since 2006. She is passionate about quality and excellence and also leads the PRD (Peer Review and Development) groups on behalf of the Network amongst other responsibilities.

Gordon Franks

Gordon Franks Training was founded by Gordon Franks in 1983 to provide high quality training for young people.
It is Gordons aim to help candidates become specialists in their chosen careers, providing a high quality service to their company and its customers. When relaxing, Gordon can normally be found on the golf course.

Georgina Mendez

Georgina has been Managing Director of Platinum since 2001, she is passionate about helping people develop skills and has a firm belief in supporting local communities to succeed.
Georgina is currently a Director in Business Studies; is a qualified tutor and IAG advisor and has worked at ground level to support some of the most economically disadvantaged people, accessing Platinum’s employment and training projects across Birmingham.

Noel Dunne


I’m the director of Creative Alliance: one of the UK’s leading independent learning providers for the creative and cultural sectors. We enable talent to get into creative, digital & marketing roles through providing creative careers education, apprenticeships and enterprise education.

I’m a creative producer with a lifelong commitment to supporting the learning of young people through creativity and enterprise. This is reflected in my roles as Director of a Multi Academy Trust of six primary schools, Governor of an FE College, Honorary Fellow to a University, Skills Ambassador for a Sector Skills Council, Board Member of a Theatre Company and Chair / Facilitator of a variety of networks / groups.
